Matched Betting Guide

Welcome to matched betting guide

This guide is structured in many small chapters each corresponding to a particular step or concept of matched betting. It is very important that you understand everything before moving on to the next chapter. You don’t want to place any bets with your hard-earned money before you completely understand how matched betting works.

I suggest that you bookmark this tutorial as you may not be able to read and understand everything at once. You may want to read some chapters more than once, especially the ones that contain explained matched betting examples. It can take a while until you get everything, but don’t worry. We have all been there, and I’m willing to assist you in any way I can.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to leave a comment on any of the pages and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

And finally, please use the information that is provided here. You are not going to make any money unless you implement what you learn from this tutorial.  And please, avoid the temptation of gambling. All gamblers lose money. Period.

Without further ado, let’s move to the first chapter of our matched betting guide.

Hi Scott,

There are a few things you can do once you’re done with all the bonuses. Every once in a while bookmakers give free bets and other bonuses to existing customers, especially when big sports events are coming up. You can make money from those offers. For this reason you should stay subscribed to their promotional newsletters.

With the nil nil offer you should back and lay one of the teams just like you were doing matched betting, and you should also lay nil nil in Betfair. The nil-nil lay stake should be chosen so that it maximizes your profit regardless of the outcome. However, this is quite confusing and not very profitable. It’s like getting a free bet only when the game ends nil nil (which happens rarely). I wouldn’t bother doing it.

You can also do everything again using someone else’s name and contact details (you need their permission, of course). In that case I would recommend using another internet connection (different IP address) and deleting all your cookies. You don’t want bookmakers to know that you are doing matched betting again.
